We currently have an immediate opening for a full-time Senior Enterprise Architect to join our team. This position will be managing the projects for the IT department, handling the setup and maintenance of a hybrid linux server / AWS environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for network administration and system infrastructure. We host multiple websites off of a shared infrastructure, and use Nginx, MySQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, Aurora, PHP, and Git. You will be working on servers or services, troubleshooting performance issues, administrative tasks such as software pushes, updates, etc. and many projects related to systems administration and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain our environment for all infrastructure including cloud and physical based systems, services, servers, databases, monitoring, etc.
• Lead and architect the movement of any applications running on physical servers to AWS cloud infrastructure
• Administer and configure Linux, PHP, Nginx, Git, and other systems that we use
• Maintain the network including switches, routers, load balancing, IP address, DNS, and other network necessities
• Maintain the data stores including MySQL, Aurora, Redis, Memcached, Redshift, and ElasticSearch. 
• Conduct security audits, identify weaknesses, and keep our network and infrastructure secure at all times
• Monitor all systems and maintain the services used to monitor systems. 
• Manage a team to handle all hardware, technical support and equipment needs for the network and employees

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree Required
• MySQL Administration experience
• Development operations experience. 
• Ability to work with multiple environments
• Web server administration experience
• Experience in managing infrastructure and architecture of systems including server setup, physical setup in a data center, monitoring services, automated jobs and tasks, and being able to diagram and document all of these items
• 10+ years of project management experience in an IT environment. You would be able to delegate, break down large projects, drive processes, and communicate well with superiors and subordinates.

• 7+  years of Redhat/CentOS or Debian/Ubuntu
• KVM virtualization experience
• AWS or other cloud provider experience
• PostgreSQL Administration experience
• Prometheus and Grafana experience for internal performance monitoring and alerts
• Development operations experience. You need to know how to work with multiple environments
• Experience with attached storage using SAN/NAS for ISCSI and NFS mounts
• Ansible and Jenkins experience for environment building and deployment management
• Nginx Web server administration and tuning experience.
• Cisco Switching with NXOS experience
• Experience in managing infrastructure and architecture of systems. This includes server setup, physical setup in a data center, monitoring services, automated jobs and tasks, and being able to diagram and document all of these items.
• Kemp Loadbalancers and HAProxy experience
• PFSense firewall experience
