We currently have an immediate opening for a full-time Billing Coordinator to join our Billing Team. The Billing Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing flagged payments governed by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, PayPal, and other payment processing services, to determine potentially fraudulent payments and/or payment abuse. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of merchant processing, chargebacks, billing support, processes, collections, and other customer billing areas.

Job Responsibilities

• Review flagged payments queue to determine any potentially fraudulent payments
• Analyze internal payment systems declined transactions
• Analyze and report transaction trends
• Practice independent judgement in determining potential fraudulent and payment abuse
• Issue refunds through merchant processors
• Communicate with payment processors and customers regarding payments received, both via phone and email
• Respond to billing related tickets

Job Requirements

• High-school Diploma or GED Required
• 1 year in a customer service or customer support role
• Knowledge of card association’s rules and regulations
• Knowledge of dispute resolution processes with major credit card providers
• Energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized
• Comfortable and passionate with technology and various billing systems
• Payments processing and fraud investigation experience preferred
