We currently have an immediate opening for a full-time Content Marketing Manager. This role will oversee a team of social media content specialists. The ideal candidate will need to possess a combination of leadership, creative, and analytical skills as well as a passion for creating innovating brand awareness. The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating engaging social content, developing initiatives and strategies to drive our social media presence, traffic, and engagement, and develop a distinguishable and consistent voice for our brands on social media.
Job Responsibilities
The duties for this role include but are not limited to:
- Develop, draft, review, and edit effective and engaging content for multiple brands to be shared on all appropriate platforms
- Write clear, concise, and creative copy for company brands
- Maintain quality control to ensure all content is on-brand, error free, and consistent in style and messaging to optimize user experience and achieve business objectives
- Use an analytical, data-driven approach to review, evaluate and report on efficacy of content
- Stay informed about industry competitors and current best-practices
- Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, and written)
- Create and manage social media content strategies, calendars/schedules, and metrics
- Achieve aggressive follower and engagement goals for the our company and in house brands
- Monitor and manage brand representation and reputation across the web
- Work collaboratively with interdepartmental teams on social media projects
Job Requirements
- 5-7 years professional experience in social media content creation
- 2-3 years leading a social media, content, or marketing team
- 2-3 years developing and implementing strategies
- Proficiency with all social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Hootsuite, etc.
- Understanding of all digital marketing principals, including: SEO, SEM/PPC, Social Media advertising, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, etc
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, direct reports, and cross functional teams
Required education:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, or related field
