Career Opportunity

We are currently seeking a skilled Billing Specialist to enhance our customer support team. This individual will play a crucial role in safeguarding our revenue stream by meticulously reviewing and analyzing transactions processed via major credit card services for potential irregularities or fraudulent activity. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Diligently monitor and evaluate flagged transactions to identify and report potential fraud.
  • Analyze payment system data to uncover and address declined transactions.
  • Investigate transactional patterns to preempt fraudulent activities.
  • Exercise discerning judgment to discern payment discrepancies and abuse.
  • Execute precise customer refund procedures.
  • Engage with payment providers and clients to ensure transparent communication regarding transactions.
  • Adhere to card brand guidelines for timely chargeback processing to mitigate financial loss.
  • Provide prompt and knowledgeable responses to customer billing inquiries.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects and tasks as directed by management to support the evolving needs of the support team.
Qualifications and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED; further education preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience in customer service or support.
  • Solid understanding of payment network regulations and chargeback processes.
  • Proactive and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in current billing technologies and systems.
  • Previous experience in payment processing and fraud detection is advantageous.
