What we’re looking for

We currently have an immediate opening for a full-time Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Finance Manager. He or she will need to have a well-rounded financial background with experience in the general ledger, journal entries, sales/use tax, month-end closing for multiple entities simultaneously. This role requires attention to detail, strategic thinking, and the ability to multitask and prioritize. 

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the accounting functions for multiple entities
• Accurately record daily bank and credit card transaction
• Prepare and file tax returns
• Maintain and organize business licenses
• Accounts payable
• Month-end account reconciliations
• Maintain company asset listings 
• Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Quickbooks Online
• Thorough understanding of payroll and related taxes
• Accounting for multiple companies
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and similar programs
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in different types of companies (services, technology, retail, etc)
• E-commerce experience preferred
